On a quiet laid-back Summer afternoon, Uncle Tom decided to make salsa but there weren’t any tomatoes in his garden because the weather had done them in that year.  The garden was full of tomatillos though.  What sprang from that fateful afternoon is a tomato-less salsa with the delicacy, richness and flavor Uncle Tom had never achieved using tomatoes.  We hope you enjoy this one-of-a-kind salsa as much as we do!

 

Uncle Tom’s Mild Tomatillo Salsa is a true mild salsa for those who prefer excellent flavor with no heat.  The Mild Salsa does not contain a single hot pepper in its ingredients so it can be enjoyed by everyone without limitation.

 

 

The Medium Tomatillo Salsa has been referred to as “a proper medium salsa.”  This blend does contain some detectable heat as its ingredient list includes jalapenos, but it is palatable to most folks.

 

 

 

Uncle Tom’s Hot Tomatillo Salsa is a considerable increase in heat from his Medium Salsa as it contains both jalapeno and serrano peppers.  This blend is perfect for those experienced with heated salsa but who enjoy the thrill of flavor the heat adds to its food.

 

 

 

Uncle Tom prefers to call this his “Extra Hot” salsa as it is a Ghost Chili Pepper Blend and not nuclear hot.  That said, this salsa is not for the faint of heart although it does lend itself to rosy cheeks.
